I am a full stack developer working on the Peoople App developing new features like the ability to recommend video games, and the soon-to-be-released core feature that allows you to reserve a table in a restaurant from the app.

Projects

Project Image

password-manager-cli

A password manager and generator all from the command line and written in Rust!

It also allows you to export all passwords, create backups and encrypt passwords.

It uses sqlx-rs to interface with a SQLite database and clap-rs to parse the CLI arguments. All of it is written in Rust.

Marks Calculator

In my last year at school, I found that the points system to enter university in Spain is very complicated and caused confusion amongst university applicants.

To make sure that everyone in my school could make a well founded decision on what to study and do as a career, I wrote a software which recommends which degree courses are available to the student based on their marks.

This software is still in use at my old school today helping young people.

This project is written in pure HTML, CSS and JavaScript and uses Django for the back-end.

Olu

Developed as part of a school project, this app is a digital diary that uses an AI algorithm to asses the user's state of mind and offer relevant support when necessary.

This project was completed but never released.

The project uses Svelte together with TypeScript for the front end and Django for the back end. Other pages like the log in page are written in pure HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

Matrix Generator

A website that allows musicians to enter chord progressions and import them into a range of backing track genres. This allows the musician to practice improvisation, focusing on the areas where they wish to develop their skills. It uses the app iRealPro, one of the most popular backing track generators.

Planner

While at school I found it hard to manage my time preparing for exams and completing coursework. For that reason, I created a software that organised my study days.

I made this application first as a website and then as an application. The website was programmed in pure HTML, CSS and JavaScript, using Django for the backend. The application was later completely reprogrammed using Tauri. For the front end I used Svelte in combination with TypeScript, and the back end used Rust and sqlx-rs.

Midi Browser Chord Practice

This project helps musicians practice chords by simply plugging in a midi keyboard into your device and visiting a website. The website displays a chord that the user plays on the keyboard.

This website was programmed with HTML, CSS and a combination of TypeScript and JavaScript. It makes heavy use of the Web MIDI API.

About

I am currently working as a full stack developer for Arkeero, specifically on the Peoople App developing new features like the ability to recommend video games, and the soon-to-be-released core feature that allows you to reserve a table in a restaurant from the app.

Ever since I can remember, I have been a maker and tinkerer. I grew up in rural Spain but was lucky to be surrounded by people who encouraged me in this, introducing me to Arduino and Raspberry Pi, and 3D printing. I always had several projects on the go which I presented at my school's anual science fairs.

I love programming, especially in Rust, although I use Python for smaller projects. I am fascinated with low level and assembly but also love creating websites in my free time and playing with CSS.

Travelling is another passion of mine. I have completed the Camino de Santiago a handful of times, by bike and on foot and always found that it is a great way of meeting new of people and seeing Spain.

I love House Music and I am a bedroom DJ who loves to play a couple of tracks between writing code.

I am planning to study software engineering in Germany in autumn of 2025, and am therefore taking a sabbatical year after finishing school to improve my German and gain work experience.
